Bicycle day ticket for North Rhine-Westphalia

The FahrradTagesTicket NRW (bicycle day ticket for North Rhine-Westphalia) lets you take your bicycle on any number of journeys within a day. It cannot be transferred after departure and is valid in 1st and 2nd class on regional trains in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is valid on all means of transport of the local transport authorities to which the "Nordrhein-Westfälischer Verbund- oder Gemeinschaftstarif" tariff applies (excluding select transfer tariffs into neighbouring traffic areas, such as AVV-Heerlen)  as well as on routes according to the appendix "Anhang 1c der Tarifbestimmungen". The FahrradTagesTicket NRW enables travellers to bring along one bicycle when combined with an NRW tariff ticket. If multiple persons travel on one ticket (e.g. SchönerTagTicket NRW for 5 persons or the SchönerMonatTicket), every bicycle requires you to purchase one FahrradTagesTicket NRW.
